Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Client Acquisition:

    Identifying potential clients (retailers, businesses) and generating leads through market visits, cold calling, and networking.
  • Sales Target Achievement:

    Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets for POS devices and related revenue.
  • Product Demonstration and Explanation:

    Explaining the features and benefits of the POS machines and other digital payment solutions to clients.
  • Onboarding and Training:

    Assisting new merchants with the onboarding process, including paperwork and initial setup, and providing training on how to use the machines and related services.
  • Relationship Building:

    Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Customer Support:

    Providing ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns related to the POS machines.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    Keeping accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and onboarding details.
  • Staying Updated:

    Keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the digital payments space.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience:

    Prior experience in sales, preferably in the POS machine, fintech, or banking sector.
  • Communication and Persuasion:

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and close deals.
  • Target-Oriented:

    Ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Service:

    Excellent customer service skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Product Knowledge:

    A good understanding of POS systems, digital payments, and related technologies.
  • Local Language Proficiency:

    In many cases, proficiency in the local language is required.
  • Education:

    Typically a bachelor's degree or 12th pass with relevant experience.
