Field Network Engineer

As a Field Network Engineer at Signellent Technologies India Pvt. Ltd in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in deploying, configuring, and maintaining network equipment at client sites. Your responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the security and efficiency of network systems. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions while staying updated with the latest networking trends and technologies. Your key responsibilities will involve installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Additionally, you will perform on-site surveys, cabling, and physical network setup. It will be essential to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues and maintain detailed documentation of configurations and site reports. You will also coordinate with the backend support team for escalations and technical assistance, provide post-installation support, and conduct routine maintenance checks. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of field experience in network installation and support. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, as well as hands-on experience with networking hardware from brands like Cisco, Aruba, and Ubiquiti is necessary. Familiarity with firewall technologies and wireless configurations, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong communication and client interaction skills are crucial. A willingness to travel within the region and a valid driver's license are preferred. You should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, along with a certification such as CCNA (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
