As a Steward at our hospitality establishment in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, assisting in kitchen tasks, and upholding hygiene standards. Your dedication and enthusiasm will contribute to the smooth functioning of our kitchen and dining areas. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, utensils, and equipment. - Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and service. - Ensure correct dishwashing and sanitization procedures are followed. - Handle kitchen waste disposal in a hygienic manner. - Stock supplies like clean utensils, dishes, and glassware appropriately. - Consistently adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards. - Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly. - Support kitchen operations during peak hours effectively. Requirements: - Minimum 6 months of steward experience in hotels, restaurants, or food service. - Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards. - Physically fit to work in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays. - Effective communication and team collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in the hospitality or F&B sector. - Familiarity with basic food safety protocols. Please note that the joining is preferred immediately for this full-time role. The work schedule may include day shifts, fixed shifts, and rotational shifts.
