Description
As a Field Network Engineer at Signellent Technologies India Pvt. Ltd in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment at client sites. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise, client-facing skills, and a proactive approach to resolving network issues. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points - Conduct on-site surveys, cabling, and physical network setup - Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues - Ensure secure and efficient operation of all network systems - Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and site reports - Coordinate with the backend support team for escalations and technical assistance - Provide post-installation support and routine maintenance checks - Stay updated with the latest networking trends and technologies Qualifications & Skills: - 2+ years of field experience in network installation and support - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, etc. - Hands-on experience with networking hardware from brands like Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, etc. - Familiarity with firewall technologies and wireless configurations - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and client interaction skills - Willingness to travel frequently within the region - Valid driver's license preferred Education & Certifications: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field - Certification such as CCNA (preferred) or equivalent practical experience Company Overview: Signellent Technologies India Pvt.
