About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Marketing State Head who will lead state-level business development, drive client onboarding, manage sales teams, and execute field activities to accelerate company growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Onboarding
Identify, acquire, and onboard new clients across the state.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Conduct regular field visits to meet potential clients and close deals.
Ensure smooth onboarding and activation of clients.
2. Business Development & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
Explore new market opportunities through regular market fieldwork.
Plan state-level marketing drives, events, and sales initiatives.
3. Team Hiring & Management
Hire, train, and manage Sales Executives and Field Marketing staff.
Conduct field visits with the team to support them in closures and training.
Monitor target achievements and guide the team for performance improvement.
4. Field Operations & State Management
Mandatory field work: Minimum 70% of the job requires on-ground field activities.
Lead market surveys, client meetings, and ground-level marketing operations.
Ensure daily market coverage and team productivity in field.
Implement company processes and maintain operational discipline.
5. Market Analysis & Reporting
Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis.
Provide daily/weekly field activity reports.
Share insights and improvement suggestions with management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in Sales/Marketing leadership roles.
Strong experience in field sales, market expansion, and team handling.
Minimum 70% of the job requires on-ground field activities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively across the state.
Target-driven and strong problem-solving capability.
