Field Manager, Marketing and Quality Control

As a candidate for the position, you should hold a Graduate degree in Science or B. Tech in Food Technology along with an MBA in Marketing, Agri business, or Rural Management from a recognized institution. A background in Horticulture or Agriculture would be advantageous. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Supporting the establishment of the Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) and considering necessary guidelines. - Providing technical guidance for post-harvest handling and value-addition to horticulture produce for the FPO. - Assisting in the preparation and update of the supply chain and marketing plan, as well as arranging for field produce gathering. - Analyzing the value chain and implementing value addition strategies to increase the farmers" income. - Assisting in the formulation of the FPO's business plan and conducting management training programs. - Monitoring FPO activities and preparing various documents such as monthly plans, reports, and field notes. - Collecting agribusiness company information and creating a matching platform with the FPO. - Planning and implementing business trials between the FPO and agribusiness companies. - Supporting the FPO in adopting advanced technology for cultivation and marketing. - Creating branding material to enhance the pricing of farmers" produce. - Conducting Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. - Evaluating proposals from entrepreneurs regarding marketing infrastructure. - Generating information, reports, roadmaps, etc., as per the directives of District Implementation Unit & Project Management Unit. - Coordinating with Project Management Unit (PMU) and Project Management Consultant (PMC). - Implementing activities at the cluster level. - Undertaking any other tasks assigned by the project authorities.
