Manager, Infrastructure Development

As a suitable candidate for this position, you are required to have a B. Tech (Civil / Agri Engineering) or Diploma in civil/agri engineering with 3 years of working experience or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, you should possess at least 07 years of experience in project designing and implementation, with preference given to those with experience in External Aided Projects. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Coordinating with line agencies for post-harvest infrastructure development. - Understanding and assisting in designing and preparing realistic estimates for various Horticulture related infrastructures such as poly houses, hi-tech nurseries, and pack houses based on stakeholder needs. - Assisting in designing and preparing realistic estimates for poly tunnels in consultation with horticulture personnel. - Studying and designing irrigation infrastructure, preparing realistic estimates based on seismic zones, and creating surface tanks in project districts in consultation with the Department of Irrigation. - Preparing packages for procurement approval with acceptable designs and suitable justifications to convince the Project Management Unit and donor. - Assisting in the preparation of a supply chain development plan with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO). - Preparing Annual Action Plans, tracking disbursements, and obtaining Utilization Certificates (UC) / Statement of Expenditure (SOE) on a monthly basis. - Assisting in the procurement of contractors/suppliers for post-harvest infrastructure development. - Reviewing and assisting in modifying the prepared design of post-harvest infrastructure development and improving facilities. - Providing technical guidance on post-harvest development and evaluating proposals submitted by entrepreneurs for various infrastructures. - Preparing information, reports, roadmaps, etc., as per the directions of the Project Management Unit and JICA. - Preparing estimates and financial recommendations for disbursement of funds. - Providing assistance in infrastructure development in project areas related to Post-Harvest Management (PHM), water conservation, and allied activities. - Assisting infrastructure engineers in districts for the preparation of estimates and measurement works. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, you may also be assigned any other work by the authorities of the Project.,
