Field Desktop Support Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining the various computer systems owned or operated by the company. This includes providing end-user support, resolving technical issues, and offering technical assistance for all operating systems and applications. You will provide support both in-person and remotely through the use of the telephone or remote access. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining business software applications by researching, designing, implementing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and evaluating existing and new operating systems and applications. Key Responsibilities: - Testing, validating, and installing operating system and application security/performance patches. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining the company's various computer systems, applications, and firewall. - System and application upgrades, updates, and patches. - Ensuring the security of company data and resources. - Maintaining data availability and disaster recovery. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - Strong experience in maintaining computer systems and providing technical support. - Proficiency in researching, designing, and troubleshooting operating systems and applications. - Excellent communication skills for providing end-user support. - Knowledge of system and application security practices.
