Role Overview:

We are looking for a Field Application Specialist (FAS) with a strong foundation in genomics, molecular biology, or clinical diagnostics. In this client-facing role, you will support pre-sales discussions, provide technical training and troubleshooting, and ensure smooth implementation of genomic workflows and platforms at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients for NGS, PCR, and other molecular platforms.
• Conduct product demonstrations, scientific presentations, and user training for customers and internal teams.
• Act as a technical liaison between the customer and global platform partners for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support pre- and post-sales engagements.
• Troubleshoot assay setup, data interpretation, and platform-related challenges.
• Stay updated on advancements in clinical genomics, bioinformatics, and diagnostics.
• Assist in the development of application notes, SOPs, user guides, and scientific content.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genomics, or related Life Sciences discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with NGS, qPCR, or other molecular diagnostic platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites across India.
• Experience working with hospitals, research institutes, or clinical labs is a plus.
