Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Accountant based in Hyderabad. The primary responsibilities include recording financial transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, processing financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Field Accountant will also assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions, collaborating with the internal team to optimize financial operations, and supporting auditing processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, book-keeping, and preparation of financial reports
• Knowledge of compliance standards and experience in managing financial records
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software and accounting tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage on-site accounting responsibilities effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in microfinance or a related sector is a bonus
