Field Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Field Accountant to manage financial reporting and accounting for field operations. This role ensures compliance with policies and regulations, accurate record-keeping, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing financial data across locations, conducting audits, and collaborating with field managers to maintain budgetary adherence. The role requires strong analytical skills to identify variances and resolve discrepancies. Frequent travel to project sites is required to ensure consistent financial practices and to train field staff on financial processes. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions for multiple field locations.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports to management.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records and practices in the field.
• Collaborate with field managers to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
• Train field staff on financial processes and maintain best practices.
• Identify discrepancies and variances in financial data and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a field or project-based environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
