Job Description SAP Technical: Enterprise System Manager/Sr. Principal SAP Solution Architect

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a seasoned SAP Technical Lead with 15+ years of end-to-end SAP implementation and architecture experience.

- Independently leading SAP projects, including the integration of SAP with other enterprise systems. This role requires hands-on
- Experience in SAP development, solution architecture, system integration, and project delivery management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SAP technical teams across multiple projects and modules (ECC, S/4HANA, PI/PO, BTP, etc.).
- Define and own the SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with business and IT strategies.
- Drive end-to-end SAP implementations and manage full project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution design, development, deployment, and support.
- Lead system integration between SAP and non-SAP applications (e.g., Blackline, Workday, Concur, ServiceNow, Vertex, etc.).
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance SAP technical solutions across modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and VIM.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and enterprise architects to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in SAP development, customization, and system upgrades/migrations.
- Provide governance and quality assurance on SAP development and integration deliverables.
- Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (SAP BTP, Fiori, CAP, RAP, SAP AI/ML) and lead POCs.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party development and support teams.
- Ensure proper documentation, change control, and release management processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in SAP technical roles.
- Expertise in ABAP development, SAP PI/PO or CPI, SAP Gateway, and integration frameworks.
- Strong experience in system integration using APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, and web services.
- Solid understanding of SAP architecture including S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, and Cloud Connector.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Deep knowledge of security, performance tuning, and system landscape optimization.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certification(s) in Technical Architecture, Integration, or Development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- Knowledge of non-SAP systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Concur, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience with AI/ML use cases in the SAP environment is advantageous.
Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
