Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the deployment of FTTH networks from planning to commissioning. Review and interpret FTTH network designs, including FTTx topology, splicing plans, and civil work layouts. Conduct field surveys and site inspections to validate deployment feasibility and ensure compliance with design. Supervise subcontractors and field teams during trenching, ducting, fiber laying, and splicing activities. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Collaborate with network planning, design, and operations teams to optimize deployment strategies. Manage materials, equipment logistics, and project documentation. Perform basic configuration and testing of network equipment (e.g., ONTs, OLTs). Troubleshoot issues in the fiber network during and after deployment. Ensure safety standards and regulations are strictly followed at all sites. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as FOA CFOT, FTTx, or similar. Experience with vendor equipment (Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, etc.) used in FTTH deployments. Knowledge of local telecom regulations and permitting processes. Working Conditions: Field work required – must be willing to travel to project sites. Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., outdoor worksites). May require evening or weekend work depending on deployment timelines.
