Fiber Field Engineer

Job Description: As a Fiber Network Technician/Splicer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the deployment and fault repair of network services. You will play a crucial role in resolving service requests within defined timelines and service level agreements. It will be your duty to identify and analyze fault cases effectively to minimize repeat or re-open cases. You will be accountable for the installation and shifting performance within your designated job area, striving to drive defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while maintaining high-quality installations and cost-effective practices. Your focus will be on reducing overall open service requests, repeat orders, and reopen orders to meet KPI targets. Additionally, you will work towards promoting "Serve to Sell" initiatives through engineers. Handling escalations from both internal and external customers regarding the product will be part of your responsibilities. This role will also involve coordinating with local cable operators (LCOs) to provide timely support to customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt installation and issue resolution. To excel in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the ACT work app used by engineers and wiremen. Resolving challenges and issues faced by local cable operators (LCOs) will be essential for successful coordination and service delivery.
