Role Overview

The Female Warden will be responsible for the overall supervision, discipline, safety, and well-being of residents in the Ladies Hostel. The role demands a mature, empathetic, and firm professional who can manage hostel operations efficiently while ensuring a secure and comfortable environment for the residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, including discipline, hygiene, safety, and housekeeping.
• Ensure residents comply with hostel rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
• Act as the primary point of contact for students/boarders, parents, and management regarding hostel-related concerns.
• Maintain proper records of occupancy, attendance, leave/permissions, and visitor entries.
• Monitor the security of the hostel premises, coordinate with guards, and handle emergency situations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and order.
• Handle grievances of residents in a fair and confidential manner.
• Liaise with management for repair/maintenance needs and other administrative requirements.
• Organize and oversee welfare, health, and safety measures for residents.
• Be available round-the-clock on the premises for any emergency or urgent requirement.

Desired Profile

• Minimum

  10 years of overall experience

  , with at least

  5 years in a similar hostel/warden role

• Ex-servicewoman or candidates with a

  security/disciplinary background

  preferred (but not mandatory).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain discipline while being approachable and supportive.
• Good record-keeping and administrative skills.
• Should be physically fit, responsible, and able to handle emergencies calmly.
