Role Overview

A Retail Salesperson is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and driving sales within a retail environment. They maintain a thorough knowledge of the store’s products, promotions, and policies to effectively meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience. Retail Salespersons handle transactions, manage inventory, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance: Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Sales Generation: Actively promote and upsell products to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, promotions, and store policies.
• Transaction Handling: Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the sales area clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
• Problem Resolution: Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues and management to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Compliance: Follow company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Fresher or 1 years of experience in retail store management, preferably in lifestyle or tech-accessory brands.
• Proven track record in leading sales teams and achieving targets.
• Excellent communication skills in English with a presentable and confident personality.
• Strong understanding of customer service
• Comfortable working weekends, festivals, and extended retail hours.
