Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible, compassionate, and disciplined Female Hostel Warden to oversee the daily operations of the girls' hostel. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and well-managed residential environment for students, ensuring their well-being and adherence to hostel rules. Supervise day-to-day hostel activities and maintain discipline and order among the students. Ensure students' safety, welfare, and personal development by providing a positive and nurturing environment. Monitor entry and exit of students and maintain attendance and leave records. Handle any emergencies (medical, disciplinary, etc.) and report incidents promptly to the management. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and cleanliness standards in the hostel premises. Coordinate with housekeeping, security, kitchen staff, and maintenance personnel to ensure proper functioning of hostel services. Act as a mentor or counselor to students as needed and foster a supportive atmosphere. Enforce hostel rules and regulations fairly and consistently. Maintain records of grievances and complaints and escalate issues to the higher authority if required. Organize orientation programs or sessions for new hostel students regarding hostel rules and safety protocols. Qualifications & Requirements: Female candidates only. Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred). Previous experience in hostel management, education sector, or student welfare roles is an advantage. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle crises, emergencies, and student-related issues with maturity. Should be organized, punctual, and firm yet empathetic. Willingness to stay within hostel premises (residential position). Working Conditions: This is a residential position; accommodation and meals will be provided on campus. Must be available on call during off-hours and weekends in case of emergencies.
