Federal Tax Manager

Responsibilities: 26897

• Lead delivery of tax compliance services for 1065 (Partnership), 1120/1120S (Corporation/S-Corp) and 1040 filings.
• Manage preparation and review of K-1, K-2, K-3 schedules, and relevant international, state, and local tax filings.
• Supervise preparation of tax returns and workpapers in alignment with U.S. federal laws.
• Advise clients on tax strategies, risk identification, and process improvements.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships with proactive communication and support.
• Mentor, review, and train junior team members, including performance evaluations.
• Liaise with U.S. counterparts using EisnerAmper’s electronic tools and processes.
  

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Professional Certification: CPA / CA / Enrolled Agent (EA) – Mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 7+ years in U.S. Taxation, particularly Private Client Services (PCS)
• Strong reviewing experience on Federal returns – 1065, 1120, 1040
• Prior experience handling small and mid-sized businesses
• Hands-on experience managing clients, mentoring teams, and reviewing complex tax documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be presentable, confident, and well-groomed with leadership capabilities
• Travel time to office must be within 1 hour
