As a Senior Manager in the Commercial Vehicle Business Unit at Pune location, your role will involve ensuring regular availability of parts to all vendors for fully built vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include: - Scheduling and monitoring parts availability for production on a monthly basis - Implementing a 3-month rolling schedule to maintain parts availability - Maintaining optimum inventory levels and ensuring coverage of parts for production - Timely escalation of supplier non-performance - Developing alternate sourcing strategies to mitigate risks of single supplier dependency - Purchasing and negotiating critical parts related to fully built vehicles such as wiring harness, axle, lamps, and tyres - Establishing contacts with stakeholders and providing necessary support - Reviewing risks in your area and creating mitigation plans - Leading new part development and establishment in production Qualifications required for this role include: - Education Qualifications: B. Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering - Work Experience: Minimum 4-6 years experience in supply chain management, vendor/material management - Preferred Industry: Automotive Industry You should have sound knowledge of Advanced Excel and other MS Office tools to effectively perform the responsibilities of this role.
