F&B and Event Service Expert

As an F&B and Event Service Expert at Marriott International, your role involves creating memorable and unique experiences for guests by providing excellent food and beverage service during banquets and events. You will be responsible for a wide range of event functions, from setting tables and communicating with the kitchen to interacting with guests and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to making guests feel well taken care of throughout their time with us. Key Responsibilities: - Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues - Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and communicate effectively with clear and professional language - Develop positive working relationships with team members to achieve common goals and ensure adherence to quality standards - Be physically active throughout your shift, including standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance - Perform any other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors to support the smooth operation of events and banquets Qualifications Required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required - License or Certification: None required At Marriott International, we are committed to diversity and inclusion, valuing the unique backgrounds and experiences of our associates.
