Buying & Sourcing House

Junior / Senior Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

1. Merchandising & Sourcing Coordination

• Work closely with

  global and domestic vendors

  to source fabrics, trims, and finished garments.
• Understand and execute

  tech packs, sampling, pricing, and bulk production orders

  .
• Ensure smooth communication between

  buyers, designers, suppliers, and factories

  .

2. Vendor & Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard

  new suppliers and manufacturers

  for cost-effective and high-quality production.
• Negotiate

  pricing, lead times, MOQs, and production schedules

  with suppliers.
• Regularly

  follow up with vendors

  to ensure timely deliveries and production updates.

3. Sampling & Product Development

• Coordinate

  sample development

  as per buyer specifications and ensure timely approvals.
• Track

  sample fit, quality checks, and modifications

  before final approvals.
• Maintain

  sample library and supplier database

  for reference and future projects.

4. Order Management & Execution

• Manage the

  end-to-end execution

  of orders from PO confirmation to final dispatch.
• Monitor

  production timelines, quality control, and shipment documentation

  .
• Work closely with

  logistics and freight forwarders

  to ensure smooth delivery.

5. Market Research & Trend Analysis

• Keep up with

  global fashion trends, fabric innovations, and industry developments

  in intimate wear and activewear.
• Provide

  market insights

  to help clients make informed sourcing decisions.

6. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain

  order trackers, cost sheets, and production reports

  for internal and client review.
• Prepare

  weekly and monthly reports

  on sourcing activities, vendor performance, and shipment status.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:

  2-5 years of relevant experience in

  Buying & Sourcing House, Apparel Manufacturing, or Merchandising

  .

• Industry Knowledge:

  Understanding of

  Lingerie, Innerwear, Swimwear, Sleepwear, and Activewear

  categories.

• Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of

  fabric, trims, garment construction, and costing

  .
• Proficiency in

  Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/MIS tools

  for order tracking.
• Ability to understand and interpret

  tech packs and production specifications

  .

• Soft Skills:

• Strong

  negotiation and communication

  skills.
• Excellent

  coordination and follow-up

  abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong

  problem-solving

  skills.

• Work Environment:

  Willingness to work

  onsite in Bhiwandi (Kalyan), Mumbai

  .
