Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development:

  Execute end-to-end design processes including trend research, mood boards, color palettes, and sketching for seasonal collections.

• Trend Analysis:

  Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and translate them into brand-appropriate designs.

• Technical Execution:

  Create detailed tech packs and design specifications to ensure accuracy in sampling and production.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Partner closely with

  Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production

  teams to ensure designs are viable, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule.

• Sample Management:

  Oversee the prototyping process, attending fit sessions and providing feedback to ensure the final product meets quality and aesthetic standards.

• Project Management:

  Manage multiple design deadlines simultaneously, ensuring all milestones are met within the seasonal calendar.

• Candidate ProfileExperience:

  0–4 years of experience specifically within a

  reputed retail brand

  or design house.

• Education:

  Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office. Strong hand-sketching and technical drawing skills are a plus.

• Industry Knowledge:

  Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and the retail production cycle.

• Soft Skills:

  Exceptional team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work collectively toward a unified brand vision.
