Fashion Designer

Design & Concept Development:

• Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to identify new design directions, fabrics, and colors.
• Develop and present creative concepts for new collections, aligned with the brand's aesthetic and target audience.
• Sketch and illustrate original designs, creating both hand-drawn and digital flats and technical drawings.

Technical Design & Prototyping:

• Create detailed tech packs, including specifications for fabrics, trims, measurements, and construction details.
• Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments from vendors.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, providing clear feedback for adjustments and refinements.
• Collaborate with the production team and pattern makers to ensure designs are technically sound and can be produced efficiently.

Production Oversight:

• Monitor the production process to ensure the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished garments.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including suppliers, production teams, and management.

Industry Awareness:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, competitive landscape, and industry news.
• Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and exhibitions to gather inspiration and network with industry professionals.

Portfolio & Documentation:

• Maintain a well-organized and updated design portfolio.
• Keep accurate records of all design processes, from initial sketches to final product details.
