Job Title: Fashion Designer (Woven & Knitwear) Location: Noida Experience: 4–6 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Fashion Designer with 4–6 years of experience in both woven and knitwear categories, with a strong background working with export houses or international buying agencies . The role requires a sharp eye for global trends, the ability to translate concepts into commercial styles, and collaborative experience across design, sourcing, and client-facing teams. Key Responsibilities: Trend Research & Forecasting Track international runway shows, retail reports, style, and cultural movements to develop seasonal trend directions . Translate fashion trends into category-specific woven and knitwear collections tailored to global markets. Build comprehensive mood boards , color palettes , and trend presentations tailored to global client requirements. Translate insights into commercially relevant designs for varied international markets. Design & Development (Woven & Knitwear) Create original designs and CADs for seasonal collections across categories. Develop tech packs with accuracy in specs, construction details, and fabric usage for both woven and knitwear lines. Collaborate with the sampling and production teams to ensure design intent is executed effectively. Client/Bayer Coordination Interact directly with international buyers , buying agencies , and internal merchandisers to understand market needs and respond with design solutions. Customize collections or capsules based on client briefs and seasonal directions. Present concepts, samples, and trend decks to clients during development stages. Sourcing & Technical Collaboration Coordinate with sourcing teams to select suitable fabrics and trims, balancing trend direction, cost targets, and production feasibility . Ensure alignment between creative ideas and production capabilities typical to the export model. Support sourcing teams in fabric/trims selection aligned with design goals and costings. Print design knowledge is a plus , including AOPs, placement prints, and graphics. Stay aligned with MOQ, lead times, and fabric limitations relevant to export markets. Requirements: Degree in Fashion Design 4–6 years of experience in apparel design with hands-on experience working with export houses or buying agencies . Strong portfolio demonstrating work across both woven and knitwear categories. Proficient in CLO 3D , Adobe Creative Suite , and other relevant design software like CorelDRAW . Strong understanding of international markets , commercial aesthetics, and seasonal development timelines. Good communication and presentation skills; comfortable in buyer interactions and review meetings. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
