Location: Civil Lines, Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Store
Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Salary Range: 20,000 to 40,000 per month (commensurate with experience and skills)

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team at our Civil Lines location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating fashion collections while ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, customer preferences, and market trends. This role requires a strong sense of design, fabric knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with production and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop apparel collections in line with current fashion trends and brand guidelines.
• Create sketches, design concepts, and detailed specifications for garments.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, colors, and embellishments.
• Coordinate with tailors, karigars, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of designs.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary alterations to ensure quality and fit standards.
• Maintain design documentation, samples, and seasonal collections.
• Collaborate with the sales and merchandising team to understand customer preferences and feedback.
• Ensure timelines are met for design development and production.
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship, and presentation.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in a boutique, retail, or designer wear.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong creative and conceptual design skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, garment construction, and tailoring techniques.
• Ability to translate ideas into practical designs.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
