Job Description

Anuprerna is looking for someone with experience in Fashion Design, Branding & Collection Launch to own the entire lifecycle of new clothing and home collections: from concept and design to production, launch, and ongoing marketing.

The ideal candidate has already taken at least one clothing collection from idea to market, end to end: design, sampling, production coordination, packaging, campaign planning, and launch across online and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Collection Ownership

  • Own the full journey of each collection: trend and market research, concept, design, sampling, approvals, production follow-up, packaging, launch campaigns, and post-launch review.
  • Build clear collection calendars and critical paths, and ensure design, production, and marketing are aligned to launch timelines.

Design & Product Development

  • Develop design directions, moodboards, and collections for apparel, fabrics, and homeware aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Create detailed tech packs / design specs and work closely with production, sampling units, and vendors to ensure feasibility, fit, finishing, and quality.
  • Iterate based on fit, costing, and buyer feedback and finalize the line for launch.

Branding, Packaging & Presentation

  • Define the visual identity of collections: silhouettes, colors, styling, lookbooks, and overall brand expression.
  • Conceptualize and finalize packaging and unboxing experiences that match the brand’s slow fashion and artisan-first positioning.
  • Ensure product pages, line sheets, and catalogues reflect the right mix of design detail and commercial clarity.

Marketing & Launch (Online + Offline)

  • Plan and execute launch campaigns for each collection across website, social media, email, and partner platforms.
  • Brief, plan, and oversee photoshoots and video shoots: model, flatlay, lifestyle, process, and campaign content.
  • Work with the team to execute offline activations: pop-ups, exhibitions, trade shows, and in-store events, including visual merchandising and on-ground storytelling.
  • Coordinate with performance / growth marketing to align creative, messaging, and landing pages for campaigns.

Brand Presence & Performance

  • Maintain a consistent visual and narrative identity for Anuprerna across all digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Track how collections perform (sell-through, hero products, slow movers) and feed those learnings back into design and launch planning.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, ecommerce, marketing, sales) to keep communication tight and execution disciplined.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion design and branding, preferably with a D2C or emerging fashion brand.
  • Mandatory: Proven end-to-end ownership of at least one clothing collection launch (from concept and design to production, packaging, and go-live marketing across online and/or offline channels).
  • Strong understanding of fabrics, apparel construction, and preferably some exposure to homeware or lifestyle products.
  • Experience planning and executing shoots and creating content, photography, and video assets for online platforms (Instagram, Meta, Pinterest, website, email).
  • Comfortable working with production teams, sampling units, vendors, and marketing to keep timelines and quality on track.
  • Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and clear communication; able to operate in a hands-on, fast-evolving environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
