Job Description

Role Overview: As a Fashion Consultant at Galeries Lafayette India, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience through personalized client engagement and expert styling. Your primary role will involve building and nurturing long-term relationships with high-value and VIP clients, driving loyalty, repeat business, and increased sales. Working in a fast-paced environment, your adaptability, teamwork, and customer-focused mindset will be essential in meeting the diverse needs of customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and grow a robust portfolio of VIP and high-potential clients through proactive and personalized communication. - Record detailed client profiles, preferences, and purchase histories to ensure timely and relevant follow-ups. - Create bespoke shopping experiences through one-on-one appointments, styling sessions, and personalized recommendations. - Achieve and exceed individual sales targets by leveraging deep client knowledge and relationship-building techniques. - Drive repeat sales and increase average transaction values by offering relevant cross-category and seasonal product suggestions. - Support team sales goals by mentoring junior advisors on best practices in clienteling and customer service. - Identify opportunities to acquire new clients and reactivate dormant clients through outreach, events, and referrals. - Collaborate with marketing and events teams to invite clients to exclusive store events, previews, and launches to maximize client engagement. - Demonstrate expert knowledge of Galeries Lafayette's brand portfolio, collections, and fashion trends. - Offer styling advice that aligns with client preferences and lifestyle to enhance the brand experience. - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including the sales floor and stockroom. - Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently upheld. - Support cash register operations, process transactions accurately, and handle returns according to store policies. - Assist with daily sales reporting and inventory checks as needed. - Follow standard operating procedures such as Global Count/Daily Count of merchandise, recording manual transactions, capturing garment dimensions for alterations, and timely closure of customer queries. - Adhere to 3 minutes billing process, check individual areas for missing tags/wrong barcoding, and participate in stock audit processes as directed. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in luxury retail or fashion industry preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills and product knowledge to meet high customer expectations. - Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving customer loyalty. - Knowledge of cash handling procedures and operational tasks. - Familiarity with standard operating procedures in a retail environment.
