Farm Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and monitor all farm activities including sowing, irrigation, harvesting, and post-harvest processes.
• Supervise farm workers and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage use of farm inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and equipment.
• Maintain farm records — including crop yield, expenses, and inventories.
• Ensure adherence to sustainable and organic farming practices.
• Coordinate with technical experts and NGO project teams for training and reporting.
• Monitor weather patterns and plan irrigation or crop protection measures accordingly.
• Maintain farm machinery and ensure smooth operations on the field.
• Prepare periodic reports on farm activities and progress.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
• Strong knowledge of crop management, irrigation systems, and sustainable farming techniques.
• Ability to manage teams and lead on-ground operations effectively.
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills in field-level operations.
• Familiarity with local agricultural practices in Maharashtra (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
