Cricket Connect is building a next-generation fan engagement and analytics platform for cricket fans. Our mission is to help fans understand the game more deeply — not just what happened, but why.

We’re now looking for a Fan Engagement & Community Lead who lives and breathes cricket, understands the Indian fan mindset, and knows how to build engagement around the Indian Premier League.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, ideal for someone who has worked close to fans — ideally within an IPL team, broadcaster, sports media platform, or fan-first startup.

What you’ll do

- Own fan engagement strategy across IPL.fan channels

- Drive real-time engagement during live IPL matches

- Create and manage content calendars aligned with:

• Matchdays
• Player storylines
• Rivalries and moments

- Build and nurture fan communities (social, messaging platforms, comments)

- Work closely with product & data teams to translate fan behaviour into insights

- Experiment, test, learn, and iterate — fast

What we’re looking for (must-haves)

- Strong cricket knowledge, especially IPL and T20 formats

- Deep understanding of Indian cricket fans and culture

- Proven experience in fan engagement, community, or social media roles

- Hands-on experience managing:

• Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube (and similar platforms)

- Ability to think and act in real time during matches

- Comfortable working remotely and independently

Strongly preferred

Previous experience working with:

• An IPL franchise
• A cricket broadcaster
• A sports media or fan engagement platform

- Experience running matchday engagement or live social coverage

- Familiarity with fan analytics and engagement metrics

- Fluent in English (Hindi or other Indian languages are a big plus)

- Startup or fast-paced environment experience
