Position: First Article Inspection (FAI) Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform

    First Article Inspections

    (FAI) as per

    AS9102

    and customer-specific standards.
  • Interpret and verify

    engineering drawings, 3D models, and work orders

    .
  • Create, manage, and submit

    FAI reports and ballooned drawings

    using

    DISCUS

    and

    Net-Inspect

    .
  • Review

    piece part, sub-assembly, and top-level drawings

    with a strong understanding of

    Bill of Materials (BOMs)

    .
  • Utilize

    UG NX (Siemens NX)

    and

    Teamcenter

    to extract and validate dimensional data.
  • Prepare detailed inspection documentation and ensure

    traceability

    of materials and processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in

    DISCUS

    and

    Net-Inspect

    for FAI documentation.
  • Working knowledge of

    UG NX (Siemens NX)

    and

    Teamcenter

    .
  • Strong grasp of

    AS9102

    ,

    GD&T

    , and

    aerospace quality standards

    .
  • Experience with

    inspection tools

    ;

    CMM

    knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent in

    Microsoft Office

    and

    quality management systems (QMS)

    .
