Faculty – Oil and Gas

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Oil and Gas Faculty to train and mentor students in oil and gas operations, safety, drilling, production, and related fields. The ideal candidate should have both industry experience and strong teaching skills to deliver theoretical and practical sessions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct theory and practical sessions for Oil & Gas courses (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream operations).

Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools in alignment with course syllabus.

Ensure students gain comprehensive understanding of topics such as:

Exploration and production

Refining processes

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Pipeline transportation and storage

Offshore and onshore operations

Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback.

Support students with project work, assignments, and placement preparation.

Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety standards are followed during practical sessions.

Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and standards (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA).

Participate in faculty meetings, training workshops, and curriculum development activities.

Required Qualifications:

Educational:

B.Tech / BE in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Candidates with Diploma in Oil & Gas Engineering and relevant experience may also apply.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of industry or teaching experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

Prior experience in training institutes or educational organizations preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

Drilling and production operations

Process instrumentation and control

Pipeline engineering

HSE standards and practices

Refinery processes and plant operations

Key Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong subject knowledge

Classroom management and mentoring ability

Proficiency with MS Office and digital teaching tools

Team player with a positive attitude
