Factory Sales Manager

You will be joining SWELECT Energy Systems Limited, a leading public listed company focused on solar panel manufacturing and balance of systems for solar power projects. With a rich history of over 40 years in the energy sector, SWELECT plays a vital role in both rooftop and utility-scale solar power projects. The company's arm, SWELECT HHV Solar Photovoltaics Pvt Ltd, operates a cutting-edge 1 GW manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, known for producing top-notch solar PV modules through the utilization of state-of-the-art technology. The facility is currently in the process of expanding to 2 GW capacity, including the addition of a cell line. As a Factory Sales Manager based in Coimbatore, your primary responsibility will revolve around overseeing sales processes, sales forecasting, strategic planning, sales strategy development, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your role will be critical in driving the company's sales operations forward and ensuring the continued success of the business. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong background in sales forecasting, planning, dispatch, sales management, business development, and customer relationship management. While prior knowledge of the solar energy industry is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Your success will hinge on your ability to effectively negotiate, communicate, analyze market trends, identify sales opportunities, and formulate sales strategies. Proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and budget management is essential for this position. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering, coupled with relevant experience in industrial or factory sales. An MBA qualification would be considered advantageous and could potentially elevate your candidacy for this role.
