Factory Manager

Regio Foods is a leading food exporting company based in Kollam, specialising in the production of frozen foods. Our portfolio includes both handmade product variants and items manufactured on automated and semi-automated production lines.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Factory Head to oversee daily operations, production efficiency, quality control, and workforce management at our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of both artisanal and mechanized production lines, while upholding international standards in food safety and export compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all factory operations including production, quality, safety, and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and export regulatory standards.
• Oversee handmade product lines as well as automated and semi-automated processes.
• Optimize production schedules, costs, and resource utilization.
• Manage and mentor factory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Liaise with senior management on production targets, capacity planning, and process improvements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in food manufacturing or related industry, ideally in frozen foods.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and export quality standards.
• Ability to manage both traditional (handmade) and modern production systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Willingness to commute or relocate to Kollam.
• Accommodation can be provided by the company (to be discussed during interview).
• Meals are provided on-site during duty hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
