Job Description

As a Human Resources - Executive at Cabcon India Ltd., you will play a crucial role in managing all HR and Industrial Relations functions at the Dhulagarh Factory in West Bengal. Your main responsibilities will revolve around ensuring smooth plant operations, maintaining statutory compliance, and fostering a positive work environment through training and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Industrial Relations (IR): Collaborate with labor contractors/unions, uphold discipline, ensure compliance with labor laws (ESIC, PF, etc.), and prevent disruptions in plant operations. - KRA: Maintain harmonious workforce relations and ensure uninterrupted plant operations. - Statutory Compliance & Audits: Guarantee full adherence to labor laws, keep audit-ready records, and liaise with legal/compliance teams. - Training & Development: Identify skill gaps, conduct safety, quality, and technical training sessions, and manage training calendars. - Employee Relations & Engagement: Address employee concerns, handle grievances, and spearhead positive engagement initiatives. - Health, Safety & Welfare: Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, manage welfare facilities, and participate in safety audits and committees. Qualifications & Experience: - Preferred Qualification: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (HR) or a relevant field. - Experience: 3-5 years as a Factory HR executive. - Industry Preference: Experience in manufacturing units, particularly in the Electrical/Cables/Conductors industry. Preferred Skills: - Strong background in Industrial/Employee Relations and grievance handling in a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in recruitment, onboarding, training, and time/attendance management for plant staff. - Knowledge of health, safety, welfare practices, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ISO compliance. - Ability to collaborate with EHS, legal, and corporate HR teams. In addition to the above, Cabcon India Ltd. offers a remuneration of 3 - 5 LPA and benefits such as paid sick time and Provident Fund. The position is based at the Dhulagarh Factory in Howrah, West Bengal, with a requirement of 75% travel.
