Factory Foreman

The Factory Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all site operatives to ensure the safe and timely delivery of work within budget constraints. It involves managing equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with Company and legal regulations, completing necessary documentation, and maintaining records of daily work on site. The primary responsibilities of the Factory Foreman include promoting and maintaining a safe working environment on site, conducting site inspections, implementing approved method statements for work, performing risk assessments, delivering toolbox talks, and ensuring that site personnel receive relevant job training. Additionally, the Foreman is responsible for leading by example, ensuring timely completion of work, coordinating daily activities of gangs and site operatives, sharing knowledge with teams, and overseeing the completion of all required documentation in accordance with Customer/Company standards. Key measures and targets for the role include the safe and timely delivery of projects within budget constraints and without snags. The Factory Foreman is expected to work closely with the Operations Manager, Site Manager, Site Operatives, internal and external customers, as well as subcontractors to ensure project success.
