Job Description

In this role as a Senior Manager of Facility Management, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and ensure the efficient operation of all facility-related activities within the organization. You will lead a team of facility professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to maintain a safe, productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring services are delivered according to established standards. - Monitoring the performance of building systems such as housekeeping, AC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting to ensure they are in good working order. - Coordinating maintenance schedules to minimize disruption to building occupants. - Developing, implementing, and optimizing facilities management policies and procedures. - Handling repair and maintenance work, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical services, ensuring timely completion. - Overseeing the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of all facilities. - Planning, coordinating, and overseeing facility-related projects, including renovations, improvements, and expansions. - Managing relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure performance meets expectations. - Leading, supervising, and managing a team of facility staff, including technicians and other personnel. - Developing and managing the facility management budget, monitoring spending, controlling costs, and identifying areas for financial savings. - Providing regular reports on facility performance, operational issues, and budget status to senior management. - Conducting regular audits and performance reviews of vendors and service providers, and utilizing facility management software and systems effectively. Qualifications Required: - In-depth knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices. - Strong leadership and people management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Problem-solving abilities. - Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and energy-efficient technologies.
