Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Facility Manager
to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our physical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure that all building systems, services, and environments are safe, efficient, and aligned with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Operations & Maintenance:
Manage and supervise all facility-related activities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. Ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Vendor & Contractor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility services. Negotiate contracts and monitor service level agreements.
- Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Implement and monitor safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Space Planning & Utilization:
Optimize space usage and support office moves, renovations, and expansions. Maintain updated floor plans and asset inventories.
- Budgeting & Cost Control:
Prepare and manage facility budgets. Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Sustainability & Efficiency:
Promote energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Monitor utility usage and implement conservation measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facility management or building operations.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with sustainability programs and green building standards.
- Ability to manage multiple sites or large-scale facilities.
