Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical standards, systems, and processes to ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, upper management, and other departments to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce technical strategies and policies that support the organizations objectives and maintain high standards of quality and security.
  • Allocate and manage technical resources efficiently, including budgeting, staffing, and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure the technical team provides timely support and troubleshooting for system issues, maintaining high levels of service availability and performance.
  • Conduct regular assessments of technical infrastructure, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing relevant advancements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical management or leadership role, preferably in a large corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, BMS, HVAC, Transformers, DG Operations, Solar Pannel operation and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with BMS operations.
  • Familiarity with building code requirements and scheduling methods (for facilities-focused roles)
  • Ability to inspire, energize, and lead technical teams toward high performance.
