Job Description

Role Overview: As a Supervisor in the fabrication department at Siemens Energy, your role will be challenging and future-oriented. You will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising employees and activities to ensure an effective and efficient fabrication operation that meets safety, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities: - Assign work to department personnel based on production processes, company policies, schedules, work orders, and employee capabilities to achieve department objectives. - Perceive and respond to schedules and product flows to supervise highly productive, cost-effective, quality-oriented manufacturing operations. - Establish and control procedures to meet production schedules and recommend improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency. - Ensure production of conforming fabricated assembly components and work out the requirement of manpower and other resources for planned production. - Responsible for compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. - 5-7 years of supervisory experience in heavy fabrication & casting repairing activities. - Ability to learn and understand software related to fabrication or welding operations with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to supervise diverse work groups using effective listening, coaching, training, and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in reading and interpreting WPS/PQR according to ASME section IX and drawings. - Understanding and application of workplace safety procedures and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment. - Proficiency in structural/vessel/piping fitting, Mig/Tig/SMAW/SAW welding processes, and NDT.,
