Description

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Foreman to lead our fabrication team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication activities in the workshop.
Ensure that all fabrication work is completed according to specifications and quality standards.
Manage a team of fabricators, providing training and guidance as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, ordering as necessary to maintain workflow.
Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare reports on production metrics, quality control, and team performance for management review.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and tools.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a fabrication environment.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation purposes.
