Description

We are seeking a skilled Blasting Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in blasting operations, demonstrating a solid understanding of blasting techniques and safety protocols. The Blasting Technician will be responsible for conducting blasting operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and collaborating with project teams to optimize blasting effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Conduct blasting operations in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Prepare and handle explosives and blasting agents as per standard protocols.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of blasting operations and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of blasting activities and report any incidents or discrepancies.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to optimize blasting techniques for specific projects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during blasting operations.

Skills and Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in blasting operations or related fields.
Strong knowledge of blasting techniques and explosives handling.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in blasting operations.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Proficient in using blasting equipment and tools.
Certification in blasting operations or related safety training is preferred.
