Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and develop denim and woven fabric suppliers
Source new fabric qualities, trends, and sustainable options in line with buyer requirements and seasonal needs.
Negotiate cost, lead time, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and payment terms with mills/vendors.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of denim and woven fabric trends, innovations, and finishing techniques.
Monitor and ensure supplier compliance with quality, testing, and sustainability standards.
Work closely with merchandising, design, and production teams to support fabric requirements.
Manage fabric bookings, track orders, and ensure on-time deliveries.
Maintain accurate fabric library, vendor database, and price records.
Support cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of denim and woven fabrics, constructions, finishes, and washes.
Vendor management and negotiation skills.
Understanding of fabric testing standards and quality requirements.
Knowledge of sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly sourcing practices.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
