FABRIC RETAILER

As a Knitted Fabric Retailer, you will be responsible for managing the sale and distribution of yarn produced through rotor spinning, specifically catering to knitted fabric manufacturers. Your role will involve client relationship management, sales and marketing, product knowledge and support, order management, and market development. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and engage with knitted fabric manufacturers and buyers. - Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, garment units, and knitting mills. - Act as a liaison between production and clients to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery. - Promote rotor spun yarn suitable for knitted fabric production. - Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities. - Provide technical guidance on yarn types, count, blend, and twist suitable for knitted fabric applications. - Co-ordinate with the production and quality team to ensure customer specifications are met. - Maintain proper records of sales, inquiries, customer feedback, and complaints. - Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets. - Suggest product modifications based on market feedback and knitting trends. Qualifications and Skills: - Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology, Marketing, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in yarn marketing, especially to the knitting sector. - Strong understanding of rotor yarn applications in knitted fabrics. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of textile ERP systems is an added advantage. You will also be evaluated based on the following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Yarn sales volume to knitting clients. - New client acquisition in the knitting segment. - On-time delivery and customer satisfaction scores. - Market penetration in key knitting hubs (e.g., Tirupur, Ludhiana, etc.).
