Were looking for Assistant Manager with expertise in Investment Banking to join our EY GDS M&A Team . This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a dynamic team. Your key responsibilities As a member of the sector practice at GDS M&A, the person would be providing M&A Advisory services to Global SaT leaders Responsible for leading client interactions, delivery, and relationship building with SaT Global Sector leaders role would require direct coordination with onshore PPEDs / SMs / Ms Work across the entire M&A deal lifecycle from deal origination to closure, including transaction screening, proposals, pitch books, industry research, precedent transactions and comparative, valuation analysis, opportunity papers, Information Memorandums etc. Should have worked on creating financial (M&A) models Manage a team of3-4 people. Act as a counsellor for team members. Identify L&D requirements of counselees Measure, monitor and improve client service by closely collaborating with the client and guiding team members and driving excellence in service delivery Focus teams on the key priorities while working on and managing several medium-size projects Ensure that team members deliver quality service as per clients needs and priorities Partner with internal and external clients to improve processes Work with project leaders to analyse resource needs and gaps across locations, and devise alternative ways forward Travel on assignments abroad, as required Skills and attributes for success Strong exposure working in a Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance environment Strong research experience in a M&A Expertise in preparing Pitch books, Industry research, Company research, Opportunity Papers, Information Memorandums and financial models Have good knowledge of valuations principles and financial statements analysis Strong financial research and analytical skills Good communication skills - both written and verbal Have good knowledge of research databases like Capital IQ, One Source, Factiva, Reuters,etc. Be proficient to search/source right information from relevant sources Manage own time to budgets and communicate progress against plan Actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group Be organized and structured in the completion of tasks Contribute pro-actively to building team spirit To qualify for the role, you must have MBA or PG Diploma in Finance or Post Graduate Diploma in Finance or CFA - Level 3 passed or CA with 6 to 8 yrs of relevant experience Ideally, youll also have Exposure to AI / Tech tools like CoPilot, VBA, PowerBI, Thinkcell, Sharepoint will be an added advantage What we look for A Team of people with commercial acumen, technical experience and enthusiasm to learn new things in this fast-moving environment An opportunity to be a part of market-leading, multi-disciplinary team of 3,500 + professionals, in the only integrated global transaction business worldwide.
