EY-Parthenon IT Due Diligence - Manager (GDS) We are seeking a Manager to join the IT Due diligence team within EY-Parthenon GDS team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a leading firm while playing a pivotal role in the expansion of the practice. Key Responsibilities IT Pre-Deal Advisory Lead rapid diagnostics and detailed IT due diligence to assess a companys current and future technology landscape, including digital propositions, product profitability, cost structures, processes, and performance improvement opportunities. Analyze target data to evaluate technology capabilities, cost drivers, systems architecture, and IT contractual obligations. Develop insights and hypotheses on critical technology issues and actively contribute to team discussions, highlighting the impact of IT on business strategy, operations, and deal valuation. Interpret IT benchmarks and qualitative data to provide clients with a clear view of typical IT functions and maturity. Manage end-to-end IT due diligence engagements, covering strategy, applications, infrastructure, organization, cybersecurity, third-party dependencies, and spend analysis. Deliver well-structured reports with actionable findings and recommendations. Build financial models for IT, including synergy estimates, one-time costs, and standalone recurring costs for separation and integration scenarios. Wider Responsibilities Engage with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership (Partners and Directors) to drive impactful outcomes. Prepare proposals and contribute to development of service offerings and go-to-market initiatives. Support business development by identifying opportunities, conducting research, and participating in client pitches. Perform primary and secondary research, quantitative analysis, and market modeling to validate hypotheses and address scope areas. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve emerging diligence issues. Drive transition from diagnostic phases to implementation work, ensuring continuity and client satisfaction. Qualifications MBA or Bachelors degree in a relevant field (preferably with a technology focus) from an accredited institution. 710 years of technology consulting experience with emphasis on deal advisory, integration, and separation processes. Proven expertise in assessing IT processes, technologies, and frameworks, including Application Support & Maintenance Application Portfolio Rationalization Network & Data Center Operations Infrastructure Optimization (consolidation, rationalization, cost savings) Enterprise applications (ERP, CRM) Technology assessment/diligence Digital Transformation and AI readiness Skills & Attributes for Success Prior experience in Consulting (Strategy, Management, Technology) or Transaction Advisory. Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in IT due diligence across diverse industries. Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, client-ready deliverables under tight timelines. Skilled in facilitating client workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AI tools, Visio, Power BI, and SmartSheet is a plus. Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor junior team members and motivate diverse workstreams. Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and apply expertise in new contexts. Willingness to travel at a low to moderate level.
