Extrusion Engineer

The Extrusion Engineer / Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining UPVC extrusion machines to produce high-quality windows and doors profiles. The role ensures consistent output, adherence to quality standards, and safe shop-floor operations.

• Operate UPVC extrusion machines for windows and doors profiles
• Set up dies, calibrators, vacuum tanks, haul-off, and cutting units
• Monitor and control extrusion parameters (temperature, pressure, speed)
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and profile consistency
• Identify and troubleshoot machine and process-related issues
• Perform routine machine checks and preventive maintenance
• Maintain production logs, quality records, and downtime reports
• Follow safety guidelines, SOPs, and 5S practices
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet targets

• CIIPET pass-out preferred (Diploma / Post Diploma in Plastics / Polymer)
• ITI / Diploma / Engineering in Mechanical, Production, or Polymer is acceptable
• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in UPVC extrusion
• Experience in windows & doors profile manufacturing preferred

• Strong knowledge of UPVC extrusion process and materials
• Ability to handle machines independently
• Basic understanding of tooling, die correction, and calibration
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to quality and detail
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required
