Functional

Key

Extrusion processes and troubleshooting.
Set up and calibrate equipment according to trial specifications
Generate detailed trial reports for internal review and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with production and Quality teams to support product development and validation
Familiarity with testing equipment such as UTM, Mooney viscometer etc.
Familiarity with ERP systems, including PCN creation, RM procurement, and process documentation.
Documentation for Audits.
Coordinate with External agencies for testing.

Key

Strong understanding of polymer behavior, extrusion dynamics
Experience with multi-layer or micro-extrusion systems
Knowledge of polymer materials used in medical applications (e.g., TPU, PE, PP, Nylon).
Experience with data analysis tools and report writing (Excel, Minitab, Word)
Knowledge of testing as per ASTM, ISO standards.
Familiarity with cleanroom operations and regulatory requirements for medical manufacturing
communication skills to manage cross-functional teams

Eligibility

Qualification - Bachelors degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field
Experience - 3 to 5 years of experience in extrusion process engineering, preferably in medical devices.
Specific Industry - Medical, Tyre, polymer components
Cleanroom or controlled environment manufacturing.
May require standing for long periods and handling of machinery
