Position Overview: The Sales Manager for IVUS Machine Business will be responsible for driving sales, developing key customer relationships, and expanding market share for IVUS technology. This position will be accountable for achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves working closely with healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and purchasing decision-makers, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful introduction and adoption of IVUS products in the state. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement the sales strategy for IVUS machines in line with regional and national business objectives. Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth by increasing market share of IVUS products within the assigned state. Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct product demonstrations, negotiations, and close sales with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cardiologists, interventional radiologists, hospital administrators, and purchasing managers. Provide ongoing support to existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions that meet clinical and business requirements. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Market Development & Penetration: Identify new market opportunities, including new hospitals, clinics, and medical centers, to expand the customer base. Conduct competitor analysis and market research to understand trends, customer requirements, and opportunities for IVUS machine adoption. Drive awareness and education of IVUS technology among key decision-makers, including through clinical training, seminars, and other promotional activities. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and training teams to ensure alignment on product messaging, customer communication, and promotional campaigns. Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery. Coordinate with the service and support teams to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and after-sales support. Work very closely with the partner company team to create and execute synergistic business opportunities in the market that gets converted into sales effectively. Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools and other sales management systems. Provide regular sales reports to management, detailing performance, market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to adjust strategies and improve sales effectiveness. Training & Product Knowledge: Continuously update knowledge of IVUS technology, including its clinical applications, features, and benefits, to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers. Provide training to hospital staff and healthcare professionals on the use and benefits of IVUS machines, ensuring proper utilization and customer satisfaction. Stay informed about new developments in the medical device field and competitive products. Compliance & Ethical Standards: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Educate customers on regulatory compliance and provide guidance on appropriate use and maintenance of IVUS machines. Adhere to the company's code of conduct and ethical sales practices. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus. Experience: Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector, with a strong background in selling capital equipment or imaging technologies. Experience working with hospitals, healthcare institutions, or specialized clinics is preferred. Familiarity with IVUS technology or similar imaging modalities is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies: Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers. Analytical skills to evaluate sales performance, customer needs, and market trends. High level of technical proficiency to understand and communicate the value of advanced medical technologies. Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements. Language Skills: Fluency in English and the local language is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of IVUS technology, cardiology, or interventional radiology. Existing relationships with key healthcare professionals or decision-makers. Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting systems. Travel Requirements: Extensive travel within the assigned state to meet customers, conduct product demonstrations, and attend events (up to 70% of the time).
