Job Description

As an Export Executive, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the export operations of our company to international markets. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for individuals who are keen on delving into the realms of global trade and export management. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the export team in various tasks such as handling customer orders, managing documentation, and engaging with international clients, customs authorities, and logistics partners. Your duties will encompass assisting in the processing of export orders, ensuring that all pertinent details are accurately recorded. You will be responsible for the preparation and oversight of export documentation, including but not limited to invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations. Collaborating with shipping and freight companies, you will coordinate the timely dispatch of goods, ensuring the selection of appropriate shipping methods and routes. It will be your duty to guarantee that all shipments adhere to international trade regulations and customs requirements. Clear communication with international stakeholders, both customers and suppliers, as well as internal departments, will be paramount to track the progress of orders effectively. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring export inventory levels and coordinating with warehouses for effective stock management. Conducting market research on international markets and potential customers will be essential to support the expansion of our export activities. You will also assist in the preparation of reports related to export shipments, sales, and trends. To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field is required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with international clients and vendors. You should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Problem-solving skills are crucial to address any issues related to export operations promptly. Basic knowledge of export procedures and trade compliance is desirable, and training will be provided in this aspect. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with export management software would be advantageous. While familiarity with Incoterms, customs clearance processes, and international shipping logistics is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. Additionally, any proficiency in foreign languages or previous internship or project experience related to international business or exports would be beneficial. Key competencies for this role include being a team player, adaptable to changing processes and market conditions, and possessing strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The work schedule entails day shifts from Monday to Friday, with morning shifts.
