Role & responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to the 

  shipment export plan

   as communicated by Sales and Planning teams.

• Update export trackers/sheets

   in a timely manner to provide visibility of execution plans to stakeholders.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders

   to receive Delivery Orders (DO) as per the export plan.
• Perform 

  freight rate updates

   frequently for various ports based on order pipelines and business requirements.
• Arrange 

  inspections

   as per customer and country-specific regulatory requirements.
• Provide 

  advance dispatch information

   to all relevant stakeholders, including customers, to ensure seamless shipment planning.
• Ensure 

  on-time dispatch

   of materials per customer requests and contractual timelines.
• Manage the 

  RFQ (Request for Quotation) planning and approval process

   for export logistics requirements.
• Coordinate with the Planning team for 

  preponement of material readiness

   to enable advance shipment planning.

• Track vendor payments

   and follow up to ensure timely clearance as per process.
• Follow up with 

  Customs House Agents (CHA)

   and transporters to ensure timely placement of containers at stuffing plants/docks and gating-in as per plan.
• Attend and 

  present in customer meetings

   regarding order execution and shipment planning status.
• Follow up for 

  dispatch of shipping documents

   to internal and external stakeholders after shipment.
• Support the line manager or team members in 

  ongoing and new projects

   within the function as required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of 

  export operations, shipping documentation, and freight coordination

  .
• Excellent 

  communication and stakeholder management skills

  .
• Proficiency in 

  Excel

   for tracker management and analysis.
• Knowledge of 

  CHA, freight forwarder coordination, and container logistics

  .
• Ability to handle 

  multi-country compliance requirements

   for inspections and exports.
• Strong 

  follow-up and problem-solving skills

   to resolve shipment bottlenecks.
